The selected van, available load space, equipment and payload are confirmed for your items. A larger load may need a different vehicle. Driver assistance, protection and any additional helper are agreed in the offer.
Give the exact street and postcode, not simply “Rotterdam centre”. The municipal zone map can be checked by address, while the actual vehicle registration determines admission. A small consignment does not by itself make a commercial van exempt from access requirements.
If the building uses a goods lift or bookable loading entrance, give its available slot and usable measurements. Check the packed item against the lift door and turns as well as the cabin. Describe any stairs that remain between the loading position, lift and final room.
Count bags, cartons, lamps and detached furniture parts alongside the larger pieces. Photos help explain what is ready, but weight and packed dimensions are still needed. Highlight books or dense items so the choice is not based on cubic volume alone.
Tell me when keys or access passes become available and who meets the driver at each end. State whether you will help or need an additional person. An agreed vehicle slot does not automatically include packing, dismantling or waiting for a property handover.
Not simply because the load is small. Check the address and proposed commercial vehicle against current official guidance, including any applicable exemption.
Include the slot, entrance instructions and lift measurements in your enquiry. I assess whether loading and the proposed transport schedule can fit those arrangements.
Explain what is already packed and any preparation you want help with. Packing materials and assistance are agreed before collection, not assumed from the van service name.
Give the earliest access date before booking. A changed handover may require a revised transport plan; storage can be assessed separately, subject to partner availability.
