Man and Truck Munich — Larger Moves & Loading Planning

I assess larger Munich moves from the packed inventory and the space available for the moving vehicle. Truck capacity, the approach and indoor carrying need a joined-up plan before booking.

Prepare the Munich truck position before the furniture is loaded.

Send both addresses, bulky-item measurements and any municipal or building access arrangements. Through 1wayeurope OÜ, I coordinate the proposed vehicle and agreed assistance without promising a fixed truck or local team.

Moving-truck options: nominal 20 m³ or 35 m³.

The 20 m³ load space is approximately 4.20 × 2.20 × 2.20 m, with up to 1,100 kg payload. The 35 m³ option is approximately 6.00 × 2.40 × 2.50 m, with up to 3,000 kg payload. These are cargo-area dimensions, not exterior measurements or gross vehicle weight. The actual vehicle, loading openings, usable capacity, equipment and crew are confirmed for your job.

Specify the working area, not just a parking-space count

Describe the proposed loading position, approach direction and space needed around the selected vehicle. The truck may need room for doors or agreed loading equipment. Its internal body dimensions do not determine the length of a lawful stopping area or its exterior clearance.

Put permission and sign responsibility into the move plan

If a temporary stopping ban is required, identify who applies, arranges signs and confirms readiness. Follow the city’s current process before the transport date is fixed. A moving-truck booking does not itself create a reserved area, and no approval is guaranteed by the enquiry.

Group the inventory by handling requirement

Mark heavy units, fragile surfaces and furniture that must remain assembled. Give the packed sizes and weight estimates, with photos of unusual pieces. This lets me assess payload, usable floor space and assistance rather than choose a nominal body volume from the number of rooms.

Plan the destination as carefully as the Munich collection

Provide destination floors, lift dimensions and the available receiving window, including any onward international leg. Say whether unpacking, placement or reassembly is requested. The agreed team and working sequence depend on both properties; a large vehicle does not solve a narrow staircase.

How I can help

  • 20 m³ and 35 m³ vehicle options matched to your belongings
  • Agreed driver assistance with loading and unloading
  • A driver and an additional carrying helper where arranged
  • Local, domestic and international moves and deliveries

What to include in your enquiry

  • Packing list, large-item dimensions and approximate weight
  • Pickup and delivery addresses, floors, stairs and lift details
  • Parking space, vehicle access and distance to the building
  • Preferred dates and whether you or someone else can help
Book ahead where possible. Next-day options may be available, but the vehicle, crew, equipment and schedule must be confirmed. Larger vehicles need suitable parking and loading space.
Before you book

Your city move: practical questions.

How much loading space should I reserve in Munich?

It depends on the selected vehicle, approach and loading method. Confirm these first and use the city’s process for the actual position; I do not prescribe a universal length.

Can a bigger truck carry all the dense boxes too?

Only within its confirmed payload and usable space. Include weight estimates for books, tools and other dense goods instead of relying on the body volume.

Does the truck service include permit administration?

Only if a specific arrangement has been confirmed. Make responsibility for municipal permission and signs explicit before booking.

Can you assess Munich to Austria or another EU destination?

Provide the destination, items and receiving conditions. I assess the journey and handling individually; ordinary Union goods on a direct intra-EU route differ from non-EU or customs-controlled movements.
